
When most European tourists think of Croatia, they picture dry landscapes, the sound of cicadas, and the blue Adriatic crowded with jet skis and water sports. But in spring, Croatia reveals a different side. Lush green meadows stretch to the sea, wild asparagus grows among blooming flowers, and the atmosphere is calm and unhurried. In March 2024, this quieter side of Croatia was captured on a walk—an opportunity to step away from daily routines for a moment.
Premantura is the southernmost town in Istria, near the Kap Kamenjak nature reserve, which is classified as a protected natural landscape. The fishing village of Premantura is located on the cape, even before the approach to the former nature park.
